Splatoon: My Inkling (Concept)
Throughout the Splatoon series, I've been playing an "Inkling" from its fictional world. Once I'm immersed with such games, I can imagine myself in place of the blank slate player and have fun creating a design of that! Inklings and Octolings from Splatoon are still tricky for me, but I'm learning. This design isn't final either.
Twitch Stream Scene Assets
Made for the starting and ending cards of my Twitch streams! These image assets have thankfully held up well for a long while. It'd be a lot of time investment to have to update them often, but I know a future update is inevitable. I've also considered a complete redesign of this character for 2019. She's not "werewolf" enough.
Werewolf's Moonlit Trek
Back in 2016, I experimented with werewolf designs and came up with this guy. I hadn't drawn him since that year, so I figured I should make something new with him! This was the result. Turned out a bigger project than I initially intended due to that detailed nature background.
Splatoon 2: Judd and Lil Judd
Some of the best fictional cats out there: the Judds! They're super good with math to be able to quickly tell who wins Splatoon matches (especially Turf Wars). I decided to try drawing them to help me with an art block.
Monster Design: "Rampager"
A variant of a monster species I created for a fictional world, which my friend group and I all have part in. It's our own private team project we do on the side, but I can show this particular drawing here! I'm satisfied with its results.
Gravity Falls: Finale Anniversary
On February 15th, 2016, Disney's Gravity Falls aired its series finale. Two years later, I drew this for the anniversary, using a scene from the episode as a reference.
Birthday Drawing: Energetic Werebird
Late last year, I designed a "werebird" for one of my awesome friends. For her birthday in this year, I made a colored and shaded drawing of her werebird! This close friend of mine is Pao.
Pokemon: Volcanic Battle
When wanting to practice more techniques, themes, and styles that I don't use in my art that frequently, I decided to try out an action scene. In my mind, action scene = Pokemon battle! So, I chose two Pokemon and went from there.
Pokemon: Smirking Stufful
Others find Stufful to be adorable, but then there's me: finding it rather creepy and eerie. Doesn't mean I dislike it! Rather, it doesn't look like a trustworthy Pokemon. What do I know, though? This was still fun to draw. Tried out a marker brush for the lineart too.
Guild Wars 2: Contest Entry
The first big art contest I've participated in! Arenanet's Guild Wars 2 is one of my favorite MMORPG games that I play. Seeing their weapon design contest announcement intrigued me, so I gave it a shot! While my entry here didn't make it to the finalists, I'm still surprised that it turned out like it did. I was trying out a new brush and everything!
Digital Painting: Autumn Scenery
Another attempt at digital painting, as I wanted to use autumn as an opportunity for this sort of practice. In particular, all the colorful fall leaves were ideal for some color practice. I hoped to capture the "vibe" or "feel" of this season in the process, too.
Halloween: Werewolf Shapeshifting
You can bet I'll draw werewolves specially for Halloween! Well, I draw them any other time of the year, but for this Halloween I had fun using a black-and-orange color scheme to suit the day. This werewolf is also in the midst of changing shape further into a "regular" wolf, thus losing human features.
Flat Design: Werewolf Silhouette
Pretty much a HUGE update to my old Redbubble design of a werewolf silhouette. Only a few years apart, I do prefer this new one far more. You can compare with the old version here. The biggest difference is that I improved with wolf and human anatomy; but I also balanced the two for my werewolf designs over time.
